Isaiah 40:28-31

For anyone who has just had one of those days... One of those days that runs you ragged, and leaves you feeling worn out and spent up come bedtime. Our God is so good. He is good on bad days, and on good ones. He is good when we are happy, and when we are sad. He is good when we are busy, and good when we feel bored and useless. He is good when the economy is bad. He is good when you lock your keys in your car after already having woken up thirty minutes late for work. He is good when the local coffee shop is out of the muffins that you have been craving for a the past month. He is good when the purse you have been eye-balling for months finally goes on sale just in time for pay day. He is good when your utility bill is high as the sky after a long, cold, winter month. He is good when the cashier at Wal-Mart accidentally short-changes you. He is good when you park illegally and somehow slip by without a parking ticket. In all circumstances, good and bad, our God is so good. In every season of life, God is constant. Amidst every change, obstacle, and curve ball that get thrown our way, God's love is unwavering. His presence is unchanging, and His person is unchanging. No matter how alone we feel, He is with us. No matter how badly we mess up, He does not forsake us. His faithfulness endures forever. That is the God I serve.

"Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
